Or maybe football

We had our one month pediatrician appointment today (a bit late, at 5 weeks, 4 days). Layla tipped the scales at 11 pounds, 13 ounces, putting her at the 95th percentile for weight. Luckily, she is also at the 90th percentile for height, so she's proportional!

Grandmommy and I were so honored to hold Layla yesterday and this morning. She is so bright and alert! She looks at everything around her. There are also times when she sleeps, but even then I am certain she dreaming about the piece she and I listened to, Sherman's March Through Geogia on NPR. Grandmommy and I were saying on the way home how great it was to end the holidays visiting our three beautiful and wonderful grandchildren. I will always remember. Love, granddaddy Ralph
