We were gone less than a week, but even in that short time Layla picked up a few new words. She now says "cracker", "all done", and "Elmo".

I also made a new food discovery at the airport yesterday....Layla LOVES (and refused to share) vanilla/oreo milkshake. Smart girl!

Layla builds a tower with Granddaddy. She quickly considered him the "block guy" and on numerous occasions would bring him blocks, one by one, from where they were in the living room to where he sat in the family room.
