Bronchiolitis, Take 2!

Long story short(ish)....Layla had a cold last week that seemed to be on its way out by Friday. However, Saturday new symptoms set in (wheezing, phlegmy coughs, irregular breathing, etc) which were all too familiar. We went to Children's ER at around midnight and just returned home around 7:30. When we were finally seen, they gave her one nebulizer treatment and sent us home with the albuterol inhaler that we still have from when she was 10 weeks. They say things should mostly run their course in 3-5 days, and we aren't sure if it will still peak and get as bad as it did the first time around. Just because we caught it early doesn't mean the course is any different, really.

Layla probably slept a total of 2 hours at the ER; she was awake and as happy as can be. Mom and dad hardly slept either. Now, believe it or not, we're on our way to a 9 a.m. soccer game. Hopefully one of our fans will be happy to push Layla around the track so she can get some quality rest.
