More Coughing

Long story short, we headed back to the doctor today because Layla was still coughing quite a bit...less wheezing, but still intense coughing...to the point that yesterday she coughed up a bunch of her morning bottle in the car. Tonight the doc listened to her and said she still has asthma-like or reactive airway type symptoms. This totally, totally, totally stinks because her recommendation is that we give Layla Pulmicort 2x/day via the neb and Albuterol every 4-6 hours either via the neb or the inhaler. There is nothing fun about this. Oh, and while we can discontinue the Albuterol in a few days if she's doing better, we have to do the Pulmicort for two lousy weeks. Last time we did this we were on vacation. These days Layla and I aim to be out the door by 6:45 each morning. These will be 2 very long weeks!
