Well, we are less than 4 weeks from our due date. We've taken our classes and toured the hospital. Not too much left to do except install the carseat, get diapers, and pack our bags for the hospital! Layla's room is coming together and I must say it looks pretty cute. I'll post a pic of the room at some point and you'll be able to see the cute paint job that the previous owners left for us...perhaps the only decent thing they did to this house! I'm less and less thrilled to be at school each day, mostly because I'm not sleeping well. Carpal tunnel symptoms in my hands wake me up at night, not to mention the sore hips and the constantly full bladder. There are three of us at school due in November. The teacher with the earliest due date is already home on bed rest, two weeks early. Will I be next?!

Lovely picture. Granddaddy anxiously awaits your debut, Layla, but I can be patient. You will have great parents, and more people than you can now imagine will love you. Grandmommy and I will see you around Thanksgiving. Love, granddaddy.
I love checking friends' blogs and getting to keep up with how you, Chris, and Layla are getting on will make me tremendously happy! Hooray for Layla Catherine and the blog:)
