Chris is traveling all week so I sent this pic to him one morning. Layla still LOVES her brother. We'll see what happens when he becomes mobile!

Spring means Swing!

Josh enjoyed his first time in the swing....as long as Mommy was nearby. When I left to help Layla climb, he let me know he wasn't pleased.

Happy 6 Months, Buddy!

Josh celebrated his half-birthday by finally getting the hang of eating. He managed to eat sweet potatoes AND bananas for dinner and he barely spit any out...compared to the past week, that's a miracle!

Family Meals

Josh is now joining us at the table for meals and playtime. The only problem is that Layla is so excited about his presence that it distracts her from her own meals. Josh is eating rice cereal, bananas, and pears. Next on the agenda...sweet potatoes!

Vacation Days

Despite this being the worst vacation EVER, considering how sick we were, Layla and I still managed to fit in some fun craft projects. Here are our new friends.

Happy Presidents' Day!

One of Josh's favorite spots to hang out is in his Bumbo within an arm's reach of his baby gym.

Layla is on the rebound from the stomach bug. No more vomiting, but she's still losing plenty of fluids (I'll leave it at that!). And she has ZERO appetite. Today she consumed diluted milk, 2 yogurts, and one chicken nugget. And that's more than she ate yesterday. She won't touch any of the things the docs recommend to ward off dehydration. Won't even eat crackers or cookies, which she normally devours.

So far Josh and Daddy have been spared. Mommy's beginning to think she might be have a touch of it. Time will tell.
